Please arrive early to class for a smooth check-in experience. We recommend 10 minutes before the start of your class. Particularly for early morning classes and late evening classes when the building is secured.

Are grip socks required?

Yes! Grippy socks are mandatory in all Reformer classes for your safety, health and hygiene.

It’s my first time doing a Reformer class, Should I be nervous?

Firstly, welcome! Please arrive 10-15 minutes early. Your instructor will take the time to show you around the studio and equipment - so you can get the most out of your workout.

Our classes are suitable for everyone – all ages (16+), sizes, genders and athletic abilities. If you do have any injuries or concerns, just let us know and we’ll offer modifications to suit your needs.

We can’t wait to see you in the studio and show you the benefits of reformer pilates.

What facilities are at the studio?

Our studio is an oasis in the heart of North Sydney, inspired by the Greek islands of the Mediterranean sea.

We provide you with bathroom facilities, daily fresh fruit infused water station, cold brew coffee, complimentary sweat towels and Eucalyptus infused chilled towels at the end of your hard work out!

I have an injury - can I attend classes?

If you have chronic injuries, are coming back from an injury or are pregnant, please seek medical advice as to what type/levels of movement is currently best suited for you.

On arrival at the studio, please let your instructor know of any injuries you may have. All of our instructors are equipped to offer modifications to suit your needs.

We also have our inhouse team of Sports Physiotherapists who are able to assist with exercise modification.

What do I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes you can move, sweat and stretch in. We recommended gym tights, leggings or shorts and either a t-shirt or singlet. For Reformer Pilates, you will need to wear grip socks. Grip socks are great to help with better grip whilst on the Reformer.

Studio Policy

What happens if I cancel my class?

Can’t attend class? No worries! There is an eight-hour cancellation window for members and class pack holders to cancel their class. This ensures everyone is looked after and has an opportunity to attend class.

What is your late arrival policy?

Out of respect for other clients, instructors and your safety, there is no admittance to class 5 minutes after the commencement time.

Do you have a late cancel/no show fee?

Yes. All No Shows will forfeit their class and incur a $15 Penalty fee if they do not Cancel their class. The penalty fee is designed to ensure fairness by encouraging members to cancel the classes that to all of our members in accessing our classes. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and exceptions will be made for genuine emergencies on a case-by-case basis.

How does the waitlist work?

If a class is fully booked and you wish to attend, we recommend adding yourself to the waitlist. Due to our eight-hour cancellation window, there are typically changes to class attendance and spaces may become available.

If you’re on the waitlist and a space opens for you, you will receive a notification (via email or text) and automatically be added into the class.

If you are accepted into class within the eight-hour cancellation period and you can no longer attend, the cancellation policy will apply.

If you place yourself on a waitlist and can no longer attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist. This avoids being placed in the class if a space becomes available and potentially being charged a cancellation fee. Spots become available for waitlisted clients with as little as 1 hours’ notice, so be sure to remove yourself from a waitlist if you can no longer attend the class.

I’m pregnant. Can I attend classes?

Firstly, congratulations! Every pregnancy is different, so we always recommend you speak with your doctor or obstetrician first to assist in working out what’s best for you.

You are welcome to attend all Reformer and Ride classes up until 12 weeks.

Beyond 12 weeks? No worries!  Please send an email to info@urbanpilates.com.au to complete the required approval forms and you can keep moving with us.

Please always notify your instructor if you are pregnant before class to ensure we can modify to your needs.

Packages

Can I purchase more than one pack?

Absolutely. You can purchase as many packages as you like without activating them. That means that if you are halfway through a pack and want to purchase another pack, that new pack won't activate until you've finished the current package meaning your new pack wont expire. Once you activate the new pack, your expiration date will be as per the set time indicated with each package ie: 3, 6 or 12 months from your first booking.
